Description:
The project aims to assess the impacts of the “Road Pricing” policy to-be-implemented in Turin by the city authorities. This new schema is expected to be applied on the current Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), located in the city centre. The feasibility study examines how the application of such policy could affect the social, economic, and transportation environments of the city. Based on a case study methodology, the new ZTL scheme of Turin takes inspiration from other Road Pricing policies successfully applied in Italian and European cities such as London (UK), Stockholm (SE), and Milan (IT).
